After receiving her Interior Design Degree from the Art Institute of Seattle, she developed a strong passion for the office furniture industry. Her employment history contains a combination of many years at the manufacturer level and over 16 years at the dealership level. During her experiences, she has mastered the techniques required to present an exceptionally professional and customized presentation package to your clients. Utilize my experiences and product knowledge to operate a contract design business that specifies various manufacturers. Create AutoCAD drawings, specifications and 3D’s per customer’s requirements. Also create color schemes for floor plans and provide assistance in product selection.

Project management, design and space planning of Customers Facilities using AutoCAD. Ensure accuracy of design and layout specifications; provide installation quotes; select fabrics & finishes; and discount products. Work with contractors, vendors, installation companies, project management groups, architects and internal personnel to coordinate the successful installation of a project. Attended construction meetings. Coordinate with general contractors, electricians, and data companies to ensure smooth installation. Manage Install crews at construction sites, conferred on electrical furniture issues, electrical layouts and distribution along with furniture codes. Accounts included Havertys and GA Tech furniture coordination/installations. Responsibilities also included field measuring, location floor core locations and other various furniture-related needs.

Responsible for management and development of five member Project Management Department as well as many major national accounts. Facilitated the absorption of the Order Entry function into the Project Management department. Established processes/procedures and policies for Project Management/Order Entry function. Responsible for the daily handling/coordination of order placements - personally responsible for entering orders, corrective action orders, reviewing all project managers orders for accuracy, tracking shipments, scheduling installations and ensuring the customers ultimate satisfaction. Responsibilities also included reviewing project manager’s work and quality levels on projects. In addition, I worked daily on service issues, selling company services to customers both locally and out of state. Responsible for the development of the project management department, their growth, accuracy on projects, training, staffing needs and daily management of individuals. Accounts included Worldcom, Inc. furniture move and installation - Managed $1.62 Million project personally. Ernst and Young furniture coordination/installations in various locations throughout the United States, requiring weekly travel to coordinate installations with local installation companies, furniture punches and corrective action completion’s. Responsibilities also include field measuring, location floor core locations and other various furniture-related needs. Customer Evaluation: “Christina made Mountains appear for us when we didn’t have dirt to make a mole hill!”

Responsible for daily administration of Haworth's Intermarket program, initiating and supporting projects/activities to ensure its success. Conduct continuous review and analysis of Intermarket program and recommends expansion/development of additional program capabilities. Support managers and various departments in assuring successful deployment, marketing, administration and execution of Intermarket programs and services.

Customer Service Mockup Coordinator

Solely responsible for tracking, expediting and shortages on all Haworth Mockup orders within the United States and Canada. Coordinated shipping arrangements between customers and distribution to ensure guaranteed delivery times. Worked with members on a daily basis in various parts of the company - Distribution, Management, Planners, Schedulers and Customer Service Coordinators. Responsible for Mockup Reporting, administration and execution of Mockup programs and services. Ultimately responsible for ensuring total customer satisfaction. Applied Project Management/Customer Service skills, on projects and on product/services offered to GSA/State customers. Applied extensive knowledge of GSA/State contracts, discounting, product availability, lead times and contractual obligations to aid customers to meet their facilities requirements. Facilitated the establishment of Military/Federal GSA order and tracking procedures. Responsible for compiling monthly and year-to-date reports tracking booked and invoiced GSA Sales. Designated as official contact for customers, vendors and manufacturers regarding GSA orders, questions, information and concerns. Manufacturer Evaluation: ” I have been impressed by the leadership role taken by Facility Resource in the Government Sales program.”

Designer/Space Planner

Designer/Space Planner, for Military, Federal, State Agencies and Commercial business. Work on an individual, or group basis, to help customers meet their design needs. Provide detailed presentations of floor plans, perspectives, and pricing of furniture layouts. Interview clients to determine spacial and storage requirements, as well as workstation needs. Assist in color, fabric and finish selections. Coordinate, schedule delivery and installation of product between manufacturers, warehouse personnel and customers.
